How we evaluate tools
We sign up, pay where necessary, and use each tool on realistic tasks for the audience it targets — editing a Short, building a small SaaS, automating a workflow. We note setup friction, output quality, pricing at the time of testing, limits, and anything that broke. Where a claim can't be tested, we say so instead of repeating marketing copy.
How reviews and comparisons are created
- Every article is researched, written and edited by a person. We do not auto-generate articles.
- Comparisons run the tools on the same tasks and show the results side by side.
- Articles list a published date and an updated date. Material changes get a visible update.
- We link to primary sources — official docs, pricing pages, changelogs — rather than other roundups.
Affiliate relationships
Some links are affiliate links; the site may earn a commission if you purchase through them. Articles that contain affiliate links carry a disclosure at the top. Affiliate relationships do not automatically determine recommendations: we cover tools with and without programs, and a tool we don't recommend stays not recommended regardless of commission. Sponsored content and free access
We do not currently publish sponsored articles. If a vendor provides free access for testing, that is disclosed in the article. Vendors never see articles before publication and cannot request changes to verdicts.
